GREAT BARRIER REEF ADVENTURES

CAMIRA SAILING ADVENTURE – WHITEHAVEN BEACH

Southern Lights

The Southern Lights tours visits both the northern and southern ends of Whitehaven Beach. Enjoy at least two hours relaxing on the world famous white silica sand and join the guided walk to the Southern Whitehaven "look out", enjoying breathtaking views of Pentecost Island and the tropical waters of the Whitsundays. Snorkel for over an hour at Border Island, Dumbell Island or one of the "secret" snorkel spots, enjoying the amazing hard and soft corals of the fringing reefs. The main difference between the two tours is that the Southern Lights has more beach time and the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time.

Northern Exposure

The Northern Exposure eco adventure is a favourite amongst avid snorkellers because it is the only Whitsunday adventure which includes two DIFFERENT snorkel destinations. Not only that, but it includes a visit to the stunning beach at Hill Inlet, north end of Whitehaven Beach, and a guided National Park walk to the lookout above the silica sand of Whitehaven. Explore the restricted area of beautiful Hill Inlet at Whitehaven Beach. The main difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights has more beach time.

One Day BLUE PEARL BAY Snorkelling Adventure

A two hour sail from the mainland, Blue Pearl Bay boasts some spectacular fringing reef. See beautiful coral and thousands of tropical fish in waist deep water just metres from the beach. For the more adventurous, a short paddle brings you to spectacular coral bommies and the largest Blue Pearl Bay residents like Maori Wrasse and Coral Trout. Snorkelling is supervised and for the inexperienced, instruction is available on board. All snorkelling gear is supplied free of charge. Diving is also available.

A delicious buffet lunch is served on board before the sail home via the Whitsunday Passage. Enjoy a gourmet afternoon platter is served during the return to the mainland.
